A whole week of cupcakes… don’t mind if I do! These are my Lavender Cupcake, topped with handpicked Lavender from the Hitching Lavender fields. I mixed the icing colour myself by using pink and blue (to match my hair colour) into a basic cream cheese icing recipe.
What a great day to celebrate! Indulge!
Yesterday was National Sponge Cake day (in US) and rather fittingly I had to bake this mini Bundt cake for a prop for one of my shots for the book I’m currently working on, cute huh?!
I shot this less than a week ago, although judging by todays weather you would not think so!!
Watermelon juice is so simple to make – put chopped watermelon pieces in blender, blend until smooth, serve over ice! Enjoy in the sun!
July 13th is National French Fry Day… like any of us need an excuse to eat french fries!! I picked up these cute fry boxes from The Range… cute prop, huh?!
I’ve been working on an exciting little bakery photoshoot this week which has introduced me to a cheeky little product that I’d never seen before…. the Cruffin! Oh yes, that’s correct it’s a cross between a croissant and a muffin! And they are delicious!
Behold the Cruffin…
Today is World Chocolate day so I’m going to get involved…you should too! My favourite is dark 75% coco, one square can keep me happy for a week!
Happy Independence Day to my American friends and what better way to mark this occasion than with some good old New York Cheesecake!
Shot for the Co-op
I’m not really into watching tennis, I like playing it but I do LOVE strawberries! I didn’t really like eating them when I was a kid so when I eat them now I feel like I’m making up for lost time!
July is America’s National hot dog month, so let join them and get stuck in too!
