The revolutionary cross stitch magazine ‘X Stitch’ that I’ve been working on recently is nearly ready to launch issue 1. It’s been a really exciting project and I’m so proud to have been a part of it. The designs in it are amazing and very different to the usual designs you’ll find in any other cross stitch magazine.
It’s a very exciting time and I cannot wait to see it in print!
This week I begin one of my most exciting projects… I’m shooting a craft book where the products are all based on Wonderland! I almost burst with excitement when I was contacted to shoot this book as I’ve been a huge lover of all things Alice since I was a little girl.
So I’ve been rummaging around my house gathering props for the project, some of them I’ve had since I was small… I love putting in personal items that mean so much to me into my work!! Cannot wait to start shoot this book!
Non food Friday…My week has been spend in the world of craft!
I am currently shooting for a crafter who is having a book published featuring all her handmade bags. Unfortunately I can’t share the bags with you yet but here are a couple of my favourite incidental shots so far!
So proud to finally see this shot in print!
For this weeks Non Food Friday I thought I’d share a snippet of whats been going on in my life this week. I’ve been working on a non food project and I have to say it’s been awesome fun!
Here’s a tiny sneaky peek…
Fuelled on by finding a beautiful, little, clay, seriously over priced spoon in a craft shop and with the words of my mother in my head ‘you could make that yourself’, I decided to make a few of my own props recently.
Sometimes I shoot something a little bit different…This was a full day model shoot for all the different colours available for Avon foundation. I had 17 girls to shoot but I’ve just decided to show a small selection, if you want to see the rest then keep your eyes open for the next Avon catalogue 😉
The models are staff members of the Avon Head Office… I’ve never seen such a bunch a naturally beautiful girls!
After spending my birthday at Southend, two days later I continued to celebrate with a seaside theme and went to Whitstable, my favourite seaside town. It’s beautiful and inspiring.
