Last week I had the privilege of working with and shooting the talented Michelin starred Tanner Brothers. I shot the plated food and behind the scenes in the kitchen, as well as people enjoying the food.
This was one of my favourite shots from the shoot… I love the steam, the rustic setting and the drama of the shot.
Whether you are the type of person who likes to make your own or if it’s your go to favourite in a restaurant, or if you like a shop bought one like this one (I shot this for the Co-op packaging) today is the day to indulge… it’s National Lasagna Day!
I shot this less than a week ago, although judging by todays weather you would not think so!!
Watermelon juice is so simple to make – put chopped watermelon pieces in blender, blend until smooth, serve over ice! Enjoy in the sun!
July 13th is National French Fry Day… like any of us need an excuse to eat french fries!! I picked up these cute fry boxes from The Range… cute prop, huh?!
Happy Independence Day to my American friends and what better way to mark this occasion than with some good old New York Cheesecake!
Shot for the Co-op
I’m not really into watching tennis, I like playing it but I do LOVE strawberries! I didn’t really like eating them when I was a kid so when I eat them now I feel like I’m making up for lost time!
July is America’s National hot dog month, so let join them and get stuck in too!
Across the UK from the 16th-25th June it’s National Picnic Week, so make your sandwiches, grab a blanket and go and enjoy eating outside!
Some more healthy eating inspiration and one of my personal favourites – avocado on toast with red onion and chopped baby plum tomatoes. YUM!
12th- 16th June is Healthy Eating Week which aims to promote healthy eating and drinking, being active and cooking. I’m hoping to inspire you with some beautiful photography of healthy meals throughout the week.
First up a delicious Pear and Pecan nut rocket salad with Parmesan shavings.
