This weekend was perfect, it ticked all the boxes. We went out to watch a band on Friday night, Saturday I had a fun photoshoot followed by lunch with friends and on Sunday I had the most inspirational and fun day – we went to the Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs exhibition displaying the amazing detailed sets and models from the movie, they also recreated the noodle bar to actual size and were serving. We then went onto The Other Art Fair and saw some truly amazing artists and there work… very inspiring!
I did also find time to fit in some weekend craft… as I’m currently loving discovering all the things you can make from old T-shirts… I bring you 52 Weekends No.26 – No Sew T-Tote!
Happy NOON FOOD FRIDAY Y’all!
Check out the gorgeous little sewing project from the wonderful book that I had the privilege of shooting ‘Love to Sew – Lagom Style Accessories’. I loved choosing all the little props for this shot!
Great way to start the day; blackberries, blueberries, coconut shavings and poppy seeds in a blackberry soya yogurt alternative. Yummy! And oh those colours!
IT’S MEAT FREE MONADY! Veggie punjab samosas are a great snack to help beat the Monday blues!
52 Weekends – giving you ideas for what to do or make every weekend throughout the year. Today’s 52 Weekends No.25 – St. Patrick’s Day shamrock.
Don’t forget it’s St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday… why not serve up this St. Patrick’s Day themed chips and dip. I used spinach wraps and cut them with a shamrock shaped cookie cutter, then baked in the oven for ten minutes until crispy and served with Moroccan spiced hummus… fun and delicious!
Only way to start the day!
Time for a little Meat Free Monday inspiration! Quern and mushroom Masala with basmati brown rice, yum!
The weekend, a time for you, to relax, spend time with the people you love, doing the things that you enjoy. My ’52 Weekends’ is here to help inspire you with things to do, places to visit, things to make and to bake. 52 Weekends No.24 – Handmade Mother’s Day Gift (because every mum loves a handmade gift). I bought the cross stitch kit from Hobbycraft and Ive had the material that I covered the hoop with in my sewing basket for years. It took a lot of hours to complete (check out all those French knots) but I’m really happy with how it turned out.
Happy NON FOOD FRIDAY! I was delighted when my copy of Lagom Style Accessories came through the post this week. I loved styling and shooting this book so much, I’m so proud to have been part of this project, it really is a beautiful book! AND… I was thrilled to see Ellie Cat made it in to the final version. I highly recommend you get a copy, author and projects by the talented Debbie Von Grabler-Crozier and available to purchase from Search Press.
