The weekend is here again and it’s just the best time for relaxing, chilling out and doing a little bit of craft. Recently I was thrilled to find a Schacht School weaving loom brand new in a charity shop (for only £2). Having never weaved before, I’ve been putting off using it. So this weekend I thought I would have a little practice using a mini loom I got free with Molly Makes Magazine years ago. I used some of the wool that came with the kit but also added a few bit from my scraps collection of ribbons and fabric. I also used a stick (picked up from last weeks costal walk) as a dowel.
I’m really happy with how it turned out for my first attempted and must thank my mum for stringing the loom and starting it off for me. If you fancy giving this cute craft a go, the current issue of Molly Makes comes with a free kit!
